How To Pick The Right Digital Camera

By Scott Morgan

In today's digital camera market it can be really confusing and frusterating finding and knowing what the best digital camera brands are. Which one should you choose? We have put together a few of the best camera brands that we would suggest that have made it through the test of time.

Because of the digital camera boom that happened in the late 90's and early 2000's, there have been a plethora of camera brands that have marketed new cameras. Alot of these new companies boast low priced cameras with some neat little features, but don't get lured by the price.

The brands that have passed the test of time are brands like Canon and Nikon. These cameras have always been more expensive but it's because you truly get what you pay for. The neat thing is that these two brands have transitioned to the digital world beautifully and still have the best digital cameras on the planet.

Many wonder why these brands are considered to be the best. The first thing we would tell you to do is to pick up a Kodak SLR camera and then to pick up a Canon SLR. The first thing you will notice is the weight and that the canon does not have the "cheap" feel to it as it is made of quality materials. You will also notice that the lenses are much bigger on a Canon or Nikon and can be interchanged with other lenses of the photographers choice.

These two brands of cameras are made of much higher quality materials to enhance color and shadow capture which will give you much higher resolution pictures. The computer and flash memory are also much much faster on one of these two brands of cameras which will allow you to never miss those special moments.

Although the prices are higher, you will be way more satisfied with a digital SLR camera made by Nikon or Canon. These cameras will last a lot longer without breaking, and will produce the high quality pictures that will last a life time.
