Night Nurse - Exceptional, hard story of nurse (Stanwyck) who could not disregard strange goings on in home where she works. Blondell adds zingy aid and it is one of Gable's most impressive early appearances. Cast includes Barbara Stanwyck, Ben Lyon, Joan Blondell, Clark Gable, Charlotte Merriam, and Charles Winninger.

Like Father Like Son - A cardiovascular surgeon by chance sprinkles an old Indian potion into his Bloody Mary and presto, he and his adolescent son have switched identities. Cast includes Dudley Moore, Kirk Cameron, Margaret Colin, Catherine Hicks, Patrick O'Neal, and Sean Astin. (98 minutes, 1987)

Mrs. Dalloway - Redgrave is radiant as the wife of a British M.P., who on the night of a gathering, thinks back to her youth when she selected between a safe, secure life and a more challenging presence with a man who sincerely loved her. McElhone is a exceptional equal for Redgrave in the flashback scenes. Cast includes Vanessa Redgrave, Natascha McElhone, Rupert Graves, Michael Kitcben, Alan Cox, Lena Headey, Amelia Bulhnore, Sarah Badel, Oliver Ford Davies, Katie Carr, John Sitting, Robert Hardy, Margaret Tyzack, and Phyllis Calvert. Cop Land - Freddy Hanlin is the Sheriff of Garrison New Jersey, a tiny town not too far from New York City. Freddy always wished to be a New York City cop, but he is somewhat hard of hearing, so he never could. When internal investigator Mo Tilden shows up in town to look into probable police corruption, Freddie takes up the cause and begins to help out. Freddie is about to learn that the men he has always idolized might be doing some very bad things.

Clue - Silly and insipid thriller based on the fashionable board game of the same name with all the identifiable characters Mrs. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, Miss Red, et al. gathered for a murderous day in a Victorian mansion. Everyone tries enormously hard but there is nothing they can do to save this weak film. Cast includes Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Ponder, and Howard Hesseman. (87 minutes, 1985)

A Few Good Men - Two Marines are being held accountable for the death of a fellow marine. They claim they were ordered to discipline private Santiago, and his demise was not intended. Lt. Daniel Kaffee will try to save the marines and get to the bottom of the case.

The Gene Krupa Story - Humdrum version of awesome jazz drummer's life, his ups and downs, and his fight with pill dependency Cast includes Don Weis, Sal Mineo, Susan Kohner, James Darren, Susan Oliver, Yvonne Craig, Lawrence Dobkin, Red Nichols, and Buddy Lester. (101 minutes, 1959)
