The Great Muppet Caper: The Muppets try to solve a London gem robbery in their second characteristic film. Here we have smart gags and notions plus humorous lyrical numbers with Miss Piggy make up for a strolling script with more than its share of dull shots. Cast includes The Muppet Entertainers Jim Henson, Blunt Oz, Dave Gomez, Jerry Nelson, and Jack Warden. (95 minutes, 1981)

Requiem for a Dream: When a youthful guy skids larger into a life of medications, his mom, living on her own in a Brooklyn condo, floats into a fantasy planet after getting caught on weight loss plan tablet. Burstyn is incredible, and Aronofsky uses focus-getting visuals to inform his tale, however his characters' descent into hell is perplexing to watch to affirm the minimum. Insomnia: Will Dormer is an LA detective who finds himself in Alaska, trying to track down a murderer. He gets help from local cop, Hap, as they try and locate Walter Finch, the prime suspect in the case. Once they find him, it is a game of cat and mouse in the Alaskan summer, as Walter proves to be very elusive.

The Iron Triangle: A U.S. Army commander, serving in Vietnam in 1969, is seized by a seventeen-year old Vietcong cadet, and the set create a bond. Fascinating as a peek at the battle from the side of the "adversary," however the outcome is bewildered and tiny. Cast includes Dude Bridges, Haing S. Ngor, Johnny Hallyday, Liem Whatley, and James Ishida. (91 minutes, 1989)

Lust in the Dirt: Hunter and Divine descend on a New Mexico hellhole-he like most of the cast to pinpoint some buried treasure, she he? to satisfy a fantasy of becoming a bar singer.
