Casting Acting Agencies

By Tami Gagspami

If you want to be famous you need to find several good acting agencies. This is easy to do because there are so many to choose from. The hard part is sorting through all of them to determine which ones are the best and which ones are not very good.

A number of them are just start up firms, while others are extremely credible and have been in the industry for years. Folks use acting agencies in the hopes of landing a gig or becoming famous. Most of them have connections to folks in the business that will help somebody become famous. You'll be in a position to network with the right folks and connections.

The chances of anybody making it the entertainment industry are not really very good. You want to think realistically when you join any of the acting agencies. They're going to tell you what you need to hear and you'll learn so much.

It takes a long time in acting to make a living in the industry and some people are never able to achieve this. Your looks will only get you so far and then you have to rely on raw talent and your networking connections.

Becoming famous is definitely not easy. There are some people who try to pay their dues for years with internships and as extras and they barely scrape by. Although this may help you get noticed, you really need to network with producers to get your foot in the door.

You want to network and meet lots of folks, and with some luck somebody will discover you. Even if it takes years, there are no guarantees with acting agencies.

There are agents who will help introduce you to people in the sector. Just be patient and do not get frustrated regardless of how long it takes if this is actually your dream. Those with the most endurance in the industry at least get somewhere.

If your acting agencies aren't getting you to where you need to be in show business, all that you need to do is just find another one. There are hundreds or maybe even thousands out there so they are very common. You want to just search around to find the best one for you. If you have difficulty finding acting agencies in your neighborhood just search on the internet or go to Hollywood.

Leveling in World of Warcraft: Some Tips

By James Trotsky

Getting sick and tired of constantly running back to your corpse? Or maybe you're playing it safe, but still find it is taking you three or four hours to gain a single level, because you just can't kill a mob without having to take a rest and regenerate health and mana? This article will give you some general pointers on how to reduce your leveling time!

Knowing your class is probably the single biggest thing you can do to improve your leveling time, but it would be impossible to detail specs and strategies for every single class in the game here, so make sure to look up some class-specific information after you read this. My blog also has occasional posts about leveling specific classes, so you can check that out too.

Now, I'm a big fan of using leveling guides, but there is a problem a lot of them share not only with each other, but with inexperienced levelers, so this is the first thing we'll talk about. The problem is, not all classes are created equally as far as leveling goes. Hunters, the class of choice for most guide writers, are able to destroy with ease mobs that would kill anyone else. So what you need to do when the content is too hard, is grind or instance a few levels, and get to the point where you are only fighting mobs lower level than you.

Minimizing downtime is another secret to quick leveling. This means you need to use mana and health-conserving tactics. Casters, use your wands! Hybrids, use melee specs! And if you are losing health quickly, start using crowd control abilities such as stuns and snares. If you are losing more than 15% of either to a single mob, you are probably doing something wrong. And don't forget to carry and use Food and Water!

Don't let you character's gear get too far behind, either. Quests and random drops aren't going to be enough to keep you up to par, and some classes suffer greatly from being under-geared. Supplement your stuff with Auction House purchases and Instance loot. (Use the Dungeon Finder system to do instances. They are great experience per hour AND provide amazing gear.)

This can lead to the alternative problem of spending too much time in capital cities looking at the AH; the trick is to mail EVERYTHING of white quality or better to an alt exclusively for handling AH matters. Sell EVERYTHING, and you should have zero problem affording top-end gear at all times.

Make That Special Moment Last

By Jeremiah Anderson

Getting married is probably one of the greatest moments for a person. Capturing the event in photos will make it even more grand. Photos can capture the place, the people who were there, and even the food served. Wedding photography and food photography usually go hand in hand, so choosing a photographer or studio to ensure all of these memories are captured can get quite challenging.

Getting a really good wedding and/or food photographer is actually quite easy. There are many factors to take into consideration, but the basics would be finding out the photographer's style, experience, price range and personality.

It's really easy to know how great your pictures will turn out by checking the photographer's portfolio. Their studios usually showcase a lot of samples, depending on their specialty. A person or company specializing in wedding photography will of course showcase a lot of pictures from various weddings, a food photography specialist will display a lot of different artistic food photos, and so on.

Experience and talent are the key, so check the photographer's portfolio. Aside from the displays on office walls, photographers usually have "online portfolios." They are just websites that show a few of their best work on whatever field photographers are best at. For example, a wedding photographer's online porfolio will show his or her best work from different weddings: the bride and groom, ceremonies, churches, receptions, and even the food.

Another thing to consider is how much it will cost you. Saving your memories in photographs is very much worth it, but you should know how much is too much. Doing some price comparison research online will give you an idea of the right amount you should spend on a wedding photographer. However, quality should not be sacrificed. A package can be cheap, but that doesn't have to mean the pictures will look that way too.

Finally, make sure the photographer is someone you have faith in. His or her attitude should be charming. If you are not able to work with him/her because of bad personality, by all means find another.

Remote Viewing Test - Easily Measure Your Powers!

By Jeffrey Bengo

When we say remote viewing, what is being referred to is the ability to 'see' people, objects and places which are not within the range of normal vision or the other four normal senses, for that matter. Learning remote viewing techniques will mean you will be able to see something which is happening somewhere that you cannot physically reach; this mental faculty will allow you to view it as if you were there in person once you develop it.

It would be a mistake to confuse remote viewing with astral projection; the two differ dramatically in that your astral body remains within the physical realm as you remote view. When you use this ability, it is the power of your mind alone which allows you to perceive beyond what you could with your normal senses.

All people have the capacity to learn remote viewing; studies have been conducted on people who are not considered to possess psychic powers otherwise which find that they can use this ability. A remote viewing test can reveal that these people can indeed see things using the power of their minds after some practice in putting themselves into a state of mind conducive to tapping into the subconscious.

You can assess the success of your remote viewing by testing yourself. Try to view places or people you know or that you can have someone confirm what you see easily.

There is one very easy remote viewing test you can try. Begin by completely relaxing your body and mind until you enter a trancelike state. Once you have reached this state, your subconscious mind and the abilities it contains can be more easily accessed.

Once you have thoroughly relaxed your body and calmed your mind to the point where it is still yet you remain alert, try to view yourself as you would appear if you were looking at yourself in a mirror placed a couple of feet in front of you. This is one remote viewing test where you will know immediately if you have succeeded.

You are used to the way that you look in a mirror, but this is not how you will appear to yourself when remote viewing. The fact that you are seeing yourself as others see you instead of the reverse image seen in a mirror can take some getting used to, but it is a sure sign that your abilities are developing.

Another simple remote viewing test you can try is looking at place you are familiar with already; your desk at the office or a friend's living room, for example. Try finding anything which is different than normal such as a magazine left open on a table.

Call the person whose home you were viewing and ask if those things really are there. This remote viewing test is an easy one to verify, so you'll know if you're achieving true remote views or not.

The majority of those who take a remote viewing test can get themselves into the right state of mind for remote viewing to occur with just a little bit of experience. A lot of people simply fall asleep the first few times they try to prepare themselves for this experience, but it does gradually become easier.

Some Important Considerations Before Hiring A Corporate Photographer

By Garry Walter

Corporate photography is a segment of the greater discipline of commercial photography. Nevertheless, it is a highly skilled art with its own nuances.

Corporate photography has a lot of aspects that differentiate it from other types of commercial photography. For instance, in other forms of photography, the photographer gets the chance to redo his work by asking for retakes or by using different angles, but in corporate photography there is no such freedom. Hence it is essential to engage the services of a capable corporate photographer.

The photographer must be able to react quickly because corporate events are normally fast paced with lots of surprises. A relaxed photographer having low levels of alertness and knowledge of what is going on around him cannot succeed as a corporate photographer.

An important element of corporate photography is headshots of all the high-ranking attendees. These headshots might be used for the organisation's archives or for distribution in the media. Hence the photographer must have an exceptionally good hand at taking such pictures.

While hiring a corporate photographer, it should be borne in mind that a famous and qualified photographer may not necessarily be a good corporate photographer. For example, a corporate event would be an absolutely wrong project to be undertaken by a wedding photographer and his task there might even turn out to be totally useless. Wedding functions are very ritualistic, so a wedding photographer knows exactly the series of events that he is to follow and performs his job accordingly. But in corporate events, unexpected incidents are very common and this demands complete awareness from the photographer. Therefore, an experienced corporate photographer is the right guy for the job

There are a lot of business requirements associated with corporate photography and the above mentioned suggestions would help you to engage a really professional corporate photographer. However, to verify all the photographer's claims, you should always look at samples of his past work.

5 Movies That You Can Never Forget For As Long As You Live.

By Thomas Jason

These aren't movies that are going to make you cry, or make you say "man, that was amazing!" to your friends. No -- here are five movies that will literally change your life, because they will change the way you look at art, at people, at power -- at everything.

Check out this list of 5 that I've compiled here, and see why these ones are compulsively viewable but still insanely powerful at the same time.

#5: Triumph of the Will.

If you want to understand war films, and films that glorify things (be it anything -- war, a country, a person), this is the film to have in your repertoire when you need to think about it. Not because the subject of the film is wonderful or because Riefenstahl is a genius, but because of what this movie says about spectacle.

#4: Neo-Realism At Its Best -- Bicycle Thieves.

If you ever need to be reminded of the power contained in simple, straightforward stories, this is your film. It's entirely of its place -- set in post-war Rome when Italy was rife with poverty and hardship -- but it's also eternal. Proof that beautiful narratives can be made from anything and anywhere, if you're good enough.

#3: Polanski's Deconstruction of Hollywood in Chinatown.

If you don't feel like going through all the old film noir movies of the 30s and 40s, watch Chinatown instead. Not only is it a ridiculously good homage to all of those, but it arguably does 40s Hollywood better than 40s Hollywood did itself. This is one of those movies you can come back to, literally hundreds of times over.

#2: Hitchcock Never Got Better Than Vertigo.

A wonderful thriller that also happens to be all about falling in love, idealizing women (or men), wanting other people to conform to our expectations, and an examination of the director's role in shaping how a movie is made. No other film is so good both on its surface and in its multiple layers of meaning at the same time.

#1: Coppola's Godfather Hits Heights Most Films Dream About.

You can almost never get tired of this film, it is that good on first go -- nearly every scene is legendarily filmed, acted, and executed, and then the fact that it happens to convey some grand and great things about America is almost like a bonus, until that becomes the reason you return to it 50 times.

What It Requires To Be A Good Event Photographer

By Olly Chin

Event photography is a profession that provides both financial as well as creative satisfaction. The job involves clicking natural and vibrant photographs of various kinds of live events. You have to be governed by your innermost feeling to creatively present an occasion in all its splendour. By doing this, an event photographer is successful in building memories with the help of photographs that can be cherished forever.

Lots of people think that event photographers just land at an event and begin shooting. While this may be the case of some amateur event photographer whose services cannot be relied upon, a real professional has to in fact provide a lot in terms of his services. The first thing that an expert event photographer must be familiar with before capturing an event is what the feel of the event is going to be like. It is very important to carefully present the spirit and the true meaning of the event. For instance, the type of photography for a marriage ceremony is not similar to that of a business conference or a sports event.

An event photographer must also be well-versed in the newest use of technology in digital processing and should know his camera fairly well. You must particularly be aware of various types of lenses, and be able to make a proper selection based on the kind of event and the location. The camera and other photography equipments have to be put in the right mode specifically keeping in mind whether the event is within four walls or out in the open, and the time when it is scheduled to take place.

Similarly, the importance of lighting at the site cannot be overlooked. The aperture settings are decided on the basis of the amount of light that is available at the venue. Information about light availability also aids in determining if there is a need for an additional flash light or not. Moreover, you should also be attentive and aware of the happenings around you to be able to click the best shots with a high degree of accuracy.

To gain better insight into the realm of photography, it would be wise to consider books and expert courses on the subject. It is best to familiarize yourself with the technical and softer features of event photography before taking on assignments as the probability of repeat assignments are dependent on the quality you showed in your earlier tasks.

Finally, motivation and passion towards the profession is quite important in this job. Adaptability to any kind of situation, alertness, and a flexible attitude are the key factors that will help you move forward as an event photographer.
