Jonas Brothers Tickets And Tour Dates

By Annika Johan

When the latest album from the Jonas Brothers hit the shelves, it was already one of the most talked about albums in the United States. The album, dubbed "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" debuted at number one on the Billboard Top 200, and the Jonas Brothers immediately set about preparing a national tour.

The brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin got their true big time start on the Disney Channel, and together they've broken the eight million sales mark worldwide for their first three albums. Lead vocals and rhythm guitar is provided by Nick, who's voiced helped the group land their first record deal. Despite his youth, Nick has been performing since the age of 7. Nick has also been linked to Miley Cyrus in a very public on-again, off-again relationship.

THe middle Jonas Brother is Joe, who also lends his vocals to the group and had a very high profile romance with country star Taylor Swift. Because of his romantic interludes, he's been a favorite of the tabloids. The oldest brother, Kevin, plays lead guitar also sings backup. Kevin was chosen as one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive last year.

After originally signing to Columbia Records, the Jonas Brothers learned the music business, and the work it takes to success very quickly. Their debut album was woefully marketed and they made a quick decision to switch labels to secure better promotion. The self titled album then rose to a Top 5 ranking when they appeared on the Disney Channel's Hannah Montana show.

From there, their star only ascended, with their third album, "A Little Bit Longer," peaking at #1 in 2008. During their reign at the top, the Jonas Brothers also starred in their own Disney Channel reality show, titled "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream." It documented their concurrent tour, all while showing a more intimate side of the band, their friends and family.

The band also appeared in "Camp Rock", a Disney Channel television movie that was extremely successful and one of the highest rated TV movies. The soundtrack to the movie enjoyed even more success, rising all the way to the top 5 on the Billboard charts. The crowing achievement for the year was an appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine.

After a relatively calm spring (meaning only a tour of South America and a few European dates), the Jonas Brothers returned this summer with another sure-fire hit. The time off, Nick told Billboard, was spent "trying to learn as much as we can, continuing to grow." They released "Lines, Vines and Trying Times" in mid-June, and by the time of the first date on their 2009 World Tour, it had already hit #1.

The first stop on the tour was Cowboy Stadium in Dallas, TX, after which a few shows in Canada were on hand. Then the band would swing back into the U.S., touring until fall. After there United States tour dates are finished for 2009, they'll head back to Europe after a two month break.
