Make part exchange the key to moving

Home owners could find they’re able to move sooner than they anticipated with help from Redrow.
The award-winning developer is offering customers the chance to enjoy a quick and easy move from old to new with part exchange.
And to explain how the scheme works Redrow is holding a special part exchange event at Old Gate Park in Penwortham this weekend (January 28/29).
Visitors will be offered free, no obligation advice on how their existing home could be used as part payment for a brand new home from Redrow’s New Heritage Collection.
Julie Harper, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), commented: “With the average home in Preston spending around eight months on the market we understand that those with a property to sell may be reluctant to commit to buy somewhere new before they’ve secured a buyer for the home they want to move from. Our part exchange weekend will show people how they can use their existing home to part fund their new one. Effectively we’ll act as a cash buyer for the property and will aim to make an offer within a few days.”
Located in Claytongate Drive, Penwortham, Old Gate Park features a stand-out choice of quality built four-bedroom family homes, some of which are almost ready to move into.
For example the Salisbury is a ready-made home complete with carpets throughout and turf to the rear garden. It’s available from £293,995 and is ideal for those who want to trade up to a bigger, better, brand new home.
Like all new Redrow homes, the Salisbury boasts a well equipped kitchen complete with integrated top brand name appliances including microwave, oven and fridge freezer plus tall cabinets and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage.
Both the family bathroom and en suite to master bedroom enjoy quality fixtures and fittings and a tile range exclusive to Redrow.
“Designed and built with pride, our new homes are streets ahead of most other properties in the area, making them much sought-after. Unlike some older, second hand properties our new homes won’t need lots of work before you can move in,” Julie explained.
“They’re ideal if you want a quick move as you won’t have to worry about repairs, renovations and decorating. But our homes don’t just look good, they are practical too. Designed to maximise efficiency and minimise waste, they’re well insulated with double glazing and central heating included as standard, which means householders should save money on their fuel bills.”
