Sources told the DigiTimes site that Apple has bought 200 to 300 glass cutting machine, which is the maker of glass used for the production line curved screen. Curved glass manufacturers to be "reluctant to participate in investment cooperation" to buy these devices because of cost issues.
"The glass cutting machine is currently located at the assembly plant components involved, " DigiTimes said.
