More than £2.5 billion of unwanted items in your home

It has been revealed that we our a bunch of hoarders.
Look in your cupboards and I'm sure you'll discover something that hasn't been used in the past couple of years and it could easily make you a couple of pound if you can bare to let it go.
There is more than £2.5 billion worth of unwanted items that are littering our homes.
As we struggle to get back on our feet after the recession turning to the goods you don't use and selling them off could mean a little extra money this month.
DVDs, mobile phones and unused games consoles are at the top of the list of the most unwanted items that are lying around useless in your homes.
The survey conducted by Cash Convertors found that more than 75 per cent of UK homes have superfluous items that are doing nothing but cluttering our living space.
David Patrick, cheif executive of Cash Convertors says: "Almost 13 million homes have admitted to keeping hold of unused items. Often people come into our stores surprised at what we will buy from them not realising that the unwanted items in theor homes could be making them money."
With more than 190 stores across the UK, they buy and sell a whole vartiey of items which are lying dormant around your home such as, musical intruments, HiFis, TVs, CDs and DIY Tools.
They also offer a Buyback service where they hold your items for 28 days and you can repurchase it at any already agreed price.
"At Cash Convertors we're keen to highlight how you can make money from items you already own, as we all continue to feel the pinch and look for ways to raise some extra cash. It may be you only need some money to tide you over, in which case we off the option to get your item back," adds David Patrick.
Go home tonight and look around your home at the things you don't use any more, would you even notice if they were gone?
