WebPosition to Showcase Its New Search Engine Optimization Features

WebPosition, a provider of online SEO tools owned by metasearch provider InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSP), will present demonstrations of its two new BETA features at the WebPosition booth during the 2011 SMX Advanced Conference held June 7-8, 2011, in Seattle, WA. The two beta features are:
PageCritic, an on-page keyword use optimization tool, which analyzes how a keyword phrase is used as compared to top ranked pages for the same keyword, and provides prioritized optimization tips specific to the competition for that keyword, rather than generic suggestions.
InLinks, an inbound link analysis tool, which helps uncover linking websites, the content of the linking text, the pages receiving those links and the status of those pages. Inbound marketers can dive deeper by exploring which linking domains use what anchor text, what anchor text leads to which pages, and how “follow-friendly” those links are. InLinks can focus purely on the internal links within a website, external links to a website, or both.
Together, these features offer a full portfolio of valuable tools to make the optimization process easier, from monitoring keyword positions on up to 400 international search engine variations, fine tuning keyword placement on pages that have not been published yet, to discovering the internal link structure of a competitor.
“The addition of the PageCritic and InLinks BETA features to WebPosition’s popular SEO ranking tool, WebPosition Reporter, broadens our entire suite of SEO offerings to the serious SEO practitioner,” said Korina Stark, senior product manager of WebPosition at InfoSpace.
“What’s wonderful about InLinks is that the data is interactive,” said Stark. “Simply click an anchor to see which domains use it, see if all a domain’s links to you are identical, or if a page is receiving links with terms you’re optimizing for. This approach allows for a deep understanding of links to a website.”
Demonstrations of the two BETA features will be held throughout the SMX conference. Visit WebPosition’s exhibition booth to see how your webpages can be further optimized for better search engine results.
