Starting a business together was the next natural step after nine years as co-workers. It wasn’t easy. Market analysis shows that online gift stores are all over the internet. The budget was virtually non-existent and the learning curve steep. Alice felt like starting the online store was like playing a game of poker and she was never really good at playing cards. They had an Ace in their deck and the women were bound and determined to play it.
